Kurt Mattila is an acclaimed filmmaker recognized for his innovative storytelling and striking visuals. He launched his career by crafting the memorable Precog dream sequences in Steven Spielberg's iconic sci-fi thriller "Minority Report." Following this, Mattila honed his directing skills through a series of successful commercial campaigns for notable brands such as Ford, Gap, and Red Bull.

His feature film debut, “Lies and Alibis,” produced by Sony Pictures Entertainment, showcases his talent for blending humor and suspense. Written by Noah Hawley, this clever sting comedy revolves around a man specializing in creating alibis for unfaithful spouses. When he is forced to confront his own checkered past while trying to assist a client facing murder charges, he finds himself in a perilous situation. The film boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including Steve Coogan, Sam Elliott, James Marsden, Selma Blair, James Brolin, and John Leguizamo.
