Laird Akeo
Laird Akeo, born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to parents Ladd Akeo and Andrea Wicklund, proudly embraces his Native Hawaiian heritage. His journey in the performing arts began during his childhood at the Haleakala Waldorf School, where he participated in various school productions. After completing his education at Waldorf High School in 2019, Laird enrolled at Nebraska Wesleyan University to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting. However, he made the bold decision to leave after his first year to chase his dream of acting professionally.
Laird quickly made his mark in the film industry, securing his debut role in the movie *Paradise City*, which was directed by the renowned Chuck Russell. This opportunity set the stage for his burgeoning career, showcasing his talents to a wider audience. As he continues to develop his craft, Laird is dedicated to bringing authentic representations of his culture to the screen and exploring diverse roles that challenge and inspire him.
