Chad Tyler
Chad Tyler, a proud native of Washington, D.C., has been an active member of SAG-AFTRA since 2001. His journey in the performing arts began with a pursuit of a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater, focusing on Acting, at West Virginia University in Morgantown. Chad's training extends beyond academics; he has participated in voice classes at The Studio Theater and acting workshops at Hartwick College, complemented by numerous sessions hosted by SAG-AFTRA. To further hone his skills, he has worked with esteemed coaches like Michael Wilson in New York City and Mark McKinnon from the McKinnon Acting Studio in Hyattsville, Maryland. Currently, he is enhancing his voice-over abilities through various online courses.
Chad's most recent notable project is his first series regular role in the upcoming web series, Jake’s Brother, set to premiere in December. He has also appeared in co-starring roles on acclaimed shows such as Netflix's House of Cards and HBO's Veep, along with a recurring role in HBO’s K Street.
In 2019, Chad made his mark Off-Off-Broadway as Mark in Limited Engagement: A Comedy About Death during the Winter Fest at The Hudson Guild in New York City. His stage credits also include leading performances as Matthew in Private Eyes, Hamlet in the touring Madman William, and Orlando in As You Like It at The Folger Shakespeare Library. A highlight of his career was serving as the Swing Understudy in Oscar Wilde’s Lady Windermere’s Fan at The Shakespeare Theater, where he shared the stage with notable actors Dixie Carter and Nancy Robinette.
