Jake Donald-Crookes is a talented actor and musician, with proficiency in drumming at a grade 7 level, who has been involved in modeling since 2005, participating in numerous advertising campaigns.
Jake's cinematic journey began with a notable role as the acting double for Artemis Fowl in Kenneth Branagh's 2020 Disney adaptation of the popular book series. This experience ignited his passion for acting and set him on a path to pursue his dreams in the film industry.
In 2022, Jake starred as Mario Capecchi, the lead character in the film *Hill of Vision*, produced by Elda Ferri and directed by Roberto Faenza, with costumes designed by the acclaimed Milena Canonero. Sharing the screen with Elisa Lasowski, Laura Haddock, and Ed Holcroft, Jake portrayed the inspiring true story of Capecchi, an Italian-born molecular geneticist and co-recipient of the 2007 Nobel Prize in Medicine. The film chronicles Capecchi’s challenging childhood during World War II, including his time spent living on the streets after his mother was taken by fascists, and their eventual reunion in 1947 as they embarked on a new life in America.
Additionally, Jake appeared in *The Wasp*, alongside Natalie Dormer and Naomi Harris, with the film set to release in August 2024. In 2024, he also reprised his role as Aaron in the second season of *Patterns*, following the success of the first season on Amazon Prime in 2023.
