Matt LaBorde
Matt LaBorde is a talented British stunt performer and actor, born near RAF Northolt in London. His passion for action sports ignited in his youth, where he excelled at clay pigeon shooting and eventually became the head trapper at a local gun club. Driven to escape a challenging upbringing in a council estate, he enlisted in the military, showcasing remarkable skills in national competitions, which ultimately led to his certification as a personal trainer. This role allowed him to connect with a wide range of clients, from actors to the public, while focusing on physical conditioning.
LaBorde's foray into the stunt world was marked by his successful qualification with the British Stunt Register, where he mastered six core disciplines, including formation skydiving, gymnastics, and kickboxing. His extensive skill set also encompasses precision driving, martial arts, aerial stunts, and weapon handling, complemented by formal training in diverse areas such as kickboxing and industrial rope access.
Despite facing a serious setback from a skydiving accident early in his career, which forced him to rebuild financially and academically, LaBorde pursued higher education with vigor. After leaving school at 14, he achieved a Public Relations HND, a degree in product design, and is currently working on an MA in Comedy Writing for Film and TV at Falmouth University.
His impressive filmography includes major blockbusters like *Avengers: Infinity War*, *Avengers: Endgame*, and *Black Adam*, with notable recognition for his work on *Avengers: Endgame*.
