Gerard Francis Conway, born on September 10, 1952, is a prominent figure in the American comic book industry, known for his multifaceted roles as a writer, editor, screenwriter, and producer across various mediums. He gained significant recognition for co-creating iconic characters such as the Punisher, the Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly), and the original Ms. Marvel. Conway made a profound impact on The Amazing Spider-Man series, notably penning the pivotal storyline "The Night Gwen Stacy Died," which marked a turning point in comic book storytelling.
