Sébastien De Dominicis
Sébastien De Dominicis, widely recognized as Dédo, was born on December 12, 1978, in Sèvres, France. He emerged as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry through his work with the Jamel Comedy Club, where he quickly made a name for himself as a multi-talented comedian, author, singer, actor, director, and screenwriter.
Raised in Gagny, Seine-Saint-Denis, by his grandparents due to his mother's serious car accident and his father's absence, Dédo drew inspiration from notable comedians like Eddie Izzard, Louis C.K., and Ricky Gervais. He has been a key member of the Jamel Comedy Club since its inception, performing in all three seasons and participating in various tours across France, Belgium, Switzerland, and at the renowned Just for Laughs festival in Montreal.
In collaboration with Yacine Belhousse, he created the innovative comedy sketch show "Histoire Racontée Par Des Chaussettes." He also co-hosted the radio program Le Comedy Club Live in 2009. Notably, he portrayed Julien in the acclaimed series Bref, appearing prominently in the episode "J'ai un pote à conditions générales."
Dédo continued to expand his creative portfolio by reviving his show "Prince des Ténèbres" in 2012, which later launched on Netflix in 2017. He founded the humorous metal band Princesses Leya and released his first graphic novel, White Spirit, in 2019. Following the pandemic, he returned to the stage with his third show, Biafine, and took on the role of Lenny in the comedy series Space Game. As of 2025, he is set to reprise his role as Julien in the second season of Bref, continuing to leave his mark on French comedy.
