Giorgio A. Tsoukalos

Giorgio A. Tsoukalos, born in 1978 in Lucerne, Switzerland, is a prominent writer, television host, and producer known for his advocacy of the controversial theory that extraterrestrial beings influenced early human civilization. Of Greek-Austrian descent, Tsoukalos pursued his education at Ithaca College in New York, where he earned a degree in communications in 1998.

Before venturing into television, he made a name for himself in the bodybuilding community, serving as a promoter and contributing as a volunteer at prestigious events like the Mr. Olympia contest. He directed the IFBB San Francisco Pro Grand Prix from 2001 until 2005, showcasing his flair for event production.

Tsoukalos's television career took off in 2002, as he appeared on networks such as Travel Channel, History, Syfy, and National Geographic. He gained widespread recognition as a co-executive producer and regular on the History Channel's hit series Ancient Aliens, which debuted in 2009.

In addition to his television work, he served as the editor of Legendary Times magazine from 1999 to 2008 and has authored several books delving into ancient astronaut theories, with titles including Chariots of the Gods Revisited (2002), Atlantis: The Evidence (2005), and The Lost Civilizations of Lemuria and Atlantis (2009). Despite facing criticism from the academic community for his views, Tsoukalos has cultivated a dedicated following among enthusiasts of ancient astronaut theories.
