Lorena Abreu
Lorena Abreu, originally from the Dominican Republic and raised in South Texas, has carved a niche for herself as a talented parkour athlete, stunt performer, and actress. Her journey began with a focus on theatre, leading her to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Film from Full Sail University in Orlando. Lorena's athletic prowess started to flourish around 2014 when she began training in parkour, building on her earlier experience in karate, which ultimately shaped her unique performance style.
Her breakthrough in stunt work came with her role in the popular series NCIS: New Orleans, which earned her a spot on the SAG-AFTRA shortlist. Notably, she served as the stunt double for Xochitl Gomez’s character, America Chavez, in the 2022 blockbuster Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness during reshoots. Her impressive stunt credits also include doubling for Chrissie Fit in Shining Vale (2023) and Justina Machado in The Horror of Dolores Roach (2023), among others.
Under the nickname "The Atomic Ant," inspired by the classic cartoon character, Lorena showcased her abilities on competitive reality shows, including a third-place finish on Total Knock Out with Kevin Hart. As a WFPF-certified level 2 parkour instructor, she excels in a variety of disciplines, including stunt fighting and dance. In addition to her performance work, she has made her mark in documentary filmmaking, directing and editing Rilla Hops: The Documentary, which premiered at the DocMiami/Florida Documentary Film Festival in 2014. Her diverse talents and bilingual skills continue to open doors in the entertainment industry.
