Lucy Beaumont
Lucy Beaumont is an accomplished comedy actress and writer known for her sharp wit and engaging performances. In 2014, she garnered recognition with a nomination for Best Newcomer at the Fosters Comedy Awards for her acclaimed debut show, ‘We Can Work It Out’. Her comedic journey took off in 2012 when she clinched The BBC New Comedy Award and the Chortle Award for Best Newcomer. Lucy also showcased her talent as a finalist in the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year in 2013 and achieved joint third place in the Gilded Balloon’s prestigious stand-up competition, So You Think You’re Funny?, in August 2011.
Her television credits include appearances on BBC Three's Live At The Electric, The Edinburgh Comedy Fest, Comedy Central’s Live at The Comedy Store, and Dave's As Yet Untitled with Alan Davies. Notably, she created and starred in the BBC Radio 4 show To Hull and Back, featuring Johnny Vegas, and is currently working on a new Radio 4 sitcom inspired by the success of her pilot.
Lucy has also made her mark in theatre, touring with prominent companies like Hull Truck and West Yorkshire Playhouse.
