Sarika Cullis-Suzuki
Sarika Cullis-Suzuki is a prominent figure in the realms of science, conservation, and media communication. Over the last 15 years, she has made significant contributions to environmentally focused media across various formats, including print, film, and audio. Her work includes hosting impactful documentaries for renowned platforms such as THE NATURE OF THINGS, Parks Canada, the National Film Board, Ocean Networks Canada, and Audible.
With a solid academic background as a Marine Biologist, holding both a Ph.D. and an M.Sc., Cullis-Suzuki's research has spanned diverse environments—from the vast oceans to secluded tropical archipelagos, as well as the intertidal zones of her native British Columbia. Her work has also reached international audiences, including presentations at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
Her expertise has not gone unnoticed; she has been recognized as one of the most influential Canadian millennials by The Huffington Post Canada, and in 2020, she received a nomination for “Best Host” at the World Congress of Science and Factual Producers.
