Raised in Lommedalen, Ulrikke relocated to London at the age of twelve, where she spent 17 years honing her artistic skills. In 1994, she earned a three-year acting degree from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts, complemented by dance training at the Vacani School of Dancing, specializing in modern dance, jazz, and classical ballet. Additionally, she studied theater at the Vera Gregg École du Théâtre in Paris, enriching her European theatrical background.

Døvigen made her professional debut in 2002 at the National Theatre of Norway, portraying Cecily Cardew in Oscar Wilde’s *The Importance of Being Earnest*. Before this, she spent two years at Oslo Nye Theatre, participating in productions like *Dracula* and *Hjalmar og Flode*. Her acclaimed performance as Nora Helmer in Henrik Ibsen’s *A Doll’s House* at Nationaltheatret solidified her reputation as a versatile actress.

She is widely recognized for her role as "Jentungen" in the beloved NRK Christmas series *Jul på Månetoppen*. Her television credits include significant roles in *Den unge Fleksnes*, *Hotel Cæsar*, *Hjem*, and *Pørni*, where her portrayal of Astrid was noted for its depth and authenticity.
