Myles Kennedy is a prominent American musician, recognized primarily as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the rock band Alter Bridge, as well as the frontman for Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, the backing band of renowned guitarist Slash. Originally hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, and raised in Northern Idaho and Spokane, Washington, Kennedy’s musical journey began after he pursued music theory studies at Spokane Falls Community College.

His career took off in 1990 as the lead guitarist for the jazz ensemble Cosmic Dust, which led to one studio album. Following that, he was part of the band Citizen Swing, contributing to two studio albums before their disbandment in 1996. Alongside fellow Citizen Swing member Craig Johnson, he formed The Mayfield Four, showcasing his vocal and guitar talents across two albums until their split in 2002. After declining to audition for Velvet Revolver, Kennedy became a member of Alter Bridge in 2004, thanks to an invitation from Mark Tremonti, and has since released five studio albums with the band.

In 2008, during an Alter Bridge tour, he collaborated with former Led Zeppelin members, though the project did not come to fruition. He later joined forces with Slash, appearing on the guitarist's 2010 solo album and touring with him. Kennedy and the Conspirators have produced two studio albums together. His solo debut, "Year of the Tiger," was released in March 2018, further showcasing his diverse musical talents.
