Dr. Michelle Oakley is a dedicated veterinarian renowned for her commitment to animal care in some of the most challenging environments. She routinely traverses hundreds of miles across icy mountain terrain, braving severe weather conditions to reach her clients, many of whom reside off the grid without access to basic utilities.

Operating a home-based clinic in southwestern Yukon, Dr. Oakley runs a mixed practice that services a vast area across Northern Canada and Alaska. Her three daughters—Sierra, Maya, and Willow—frequently join her in her endeavors and are regular contributors to her television series, showcasing their family's passion for veterinary work.
