Jillian Grace Harper was born on December 20, 1985, in Arkansas and spent her formative years in Washington, Missouri. Her journey into the limelight began when her mother, Katharine Walter, submitted photos and a letter about her to the iconic radio host Howard Stern. This led to Jillian making a guest appearance on Stern's show, where she caught the eye of Kevin Kuster, Senior Photo Editor at "Playboy." Kuster quickly recognized her potential and invited her for a test shoot, resulting in Jillian being named Playmate of the Month in the March 2005 edition of the renowned magazine.

In addition to her "Playboy" success, Jillian has made notable appearances as herself on several episodes of the reality television series The Girls Next Door, which aired in 2005.
