Sasha Allen, an accomplished American actress and singer, hails from Harlem, New York. Her artistic journey began early; as a freshman at LaGuardia High School, she landed a role in the Washington D.C. premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Whistle Down the Wind." At just seventeen, Sasha signed her first recording contract with Electra Records, later moving to Arista Records, showcasing her vocal talent.

While pursuing her studies at Hunter College, she caught the attention of writer and director Todd Graff, who cast her in the 2003 film "Camp." This role marked a significant step in her career, leading to her work as a backup vocalist for renowned artists like Christina Aguilera, John Legend, and Alicia Keys.

Sasha made her Broadway debut in 2009, taking on the role of Dionne in the revival of "Hair," a performance she reprised in the 2010 London West End revival. Her remarkable journey continued when she reached the semifinals of NBC’s "The Voice" in its fourth season in 2013, earning accolades for her powerful performances. In 2016, she joined the legendary Rolling Stones on tour, stepping in for the esteemed backing vocalist Lisa Fischer, further solidifying her status as a versatile and highly regarded talent in the music and theater industries.
