Mark A. Altman is a distinguished showrunner, executive producer, director, and author renowned for his contributions to popular culture. His acclaimed two-volume work, *The 50 Year Mission: The Complete Uncensored History of Star Trek*, published by St. Martin's Press in 2016, garnered widespread praise from critics, including accolades from *The Wall Street Journal*, *Booklist*, and *Publishers Weekly*. Following this success, he released *Nobody Does It Better* in 2020, an oral history of the James Bond franchise, and *Secrets of the Force* in 2021, which delves into the rich narrative of the Star Wars saga.
