Sandra Lee

Sandra Siew Pin Lee Rebish, widely recognized as Dr. Pimple Popper, was born on December 20, 1970. She is an esteemed American dermatologist based in Upland, California, and has gained fame through her engaging YouTube channel and the TLC reality series, Dr. Pimple Popper.

Lee's journey began when her family moved from New York to Southern California when she was just five years old. She pursued her undergraduate studies at UCLA, where she simultaneously worked as a medical assistant for an allergist in Los Angeles. Following her graduation, she attended the Drexel University College of Medicine, earning her medical degree in 1998. Lee completed her internship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and went on to finish her dermatology residency at Southern Illinois University. To further hone her skills, she later trained in San Diego, specializing in laser, dermatological, and cosmetic surgery.

As a board-certified dermatologist, Lee is affiliated with several prestigious organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Her YouTube career began in 2010, gaining significant traction in 2015, when her Instagram videos showcasing skin extractions went viral. By December 2021, her channel boasted over 7.3 million subscribers and garnered a staggering one billion views.

In addition to her online presence, Lee launched SLMD Skincare Products in 2017 and debuted her TLC series in July 2018. She resides in Upland with her husband, fellow dermatologist Jeffrey C. Rebish, whom she married in 2000, and continues her practice at Skin Physicians & Surgeons.
