A radio host arrives in Vietnam to join the Armed Forces Radio Service. As he entertains the soldiers with his unique brand of humor, he quickly gains a following among the troops. However, his superiors are less than pleased with his comedic style and find it inappropriate for the serious environment, leading to tension between the free-spirited DJ and military leadership.
