Set in New York during 1952, Mickey Jelke comes into a fortune that fuels his extravagant nightlife. He revels in the vibrant Manhattan scene, frequenting Broadway bars and mingling with a dubious crowd, including pimps and sex workers. However, his hedonistic lifestyle takes a dark turn when a corrupt police officer, with the help of Mickey's girlfriend Patricia, falsely implicates him in a prostitution ring. The ensuing scandal threatens to unravel his life and reputation, forcing Mickey to confront the consequences of his choices amidst the glitz and danger of the city.
