FERAL is a captivating audio-visual experience inspired by George Monbiot's work, delving into themes of rewilding, ecological crises, and humanity's disconnection from nature. This project stems from a collaboratively crafted screenplay by Composer Hollie Harding and choreographer Josh Ben-Tovim, developed during Hollie's residency with the London Symphony Orchestra as part of the Jerwood Plus Composer Scheme. The score creatively blends performed sound, foley, and field recordings, using the film as a platform to explore the intricate dynamics between sound, visuals, and the relationship between humans and the natural world.
