Steven, a timid accountant-in-training, enjoys a peaceful life with his wife Clara while managing her brothers' junkyard. His world turns upside down when a belly dancer hired for his birthday is revealed to be Anke, a former classmate. Captivated by her charm, Steven pursues Anke, who reciprocates his feelings after he stands up to an obnoxious patron.
