Saya Toma, a high school student, tragically lost her parents and younger brother in a plane crash. Detective Akio Kondo revealed to her that her family was likely killed by individuals with "spec," a term she had never heard before. Six years later, motivated by the detective's words, Saya trains with the FBI and returns to Japan to serve as a detective in the Public Security Bureau, focusing on cold cases. Meanwhile, Juichi Ninomae, manipulated by Satoshi Chii, sees Saya as his family's enemy, leading to a dangerous confrontation between the siblings, who have forgotten their true connection. As the conflict escalates, Maho Ueno becomes entangled, prompting Saya to harness her "spec" abilities to protect her.
