Jacqueline, a devoted young mother in 1960s Paris, faces the challenges of raising her disabled son, Laurent, after her husband leaves. Determined to provide him with a joyful and fulfilling life, she pours all her energy into his care. Meanwhile, in modern-day Montreal, Antoine enjoys a seemingly perfect life as a successful DJ with a loving partner, Rose, and two beautiful daughters. Yet, beneath the surface, turmoil brews as he grapples with the emotional fallout of his recent split from ex-wife Carole, who is still reeling from their separation.
