Good Times, a classic American sitcom, aired from February 8, 1974, to August 1, 1979, on CBS. Created by Eric Monte and Mike Evans, with Norman Lear as the executive producer, it serves as a spin-off from Maude, itself a derivative of All in the Family, alongside The Jeffersons. Set against the backdrop of Chicago, the show captures the lives of a struggling African-American family navigating challenges with humor and heart. Initially filmed at CBS Television City, Good Times later relocated to Metromedia Square in 1975, where Lear's production company was based.
