Backfire (1988)

Mara McAndrew's life takes a dark turn as her marriage to Vietnam veteran Donnie deteriorates. Haunted by war memories, Donnie is emotionally unavailable, prompting Mara to contemplate leaving him while still desiring his financial support. A chance encounter with the enigmatic Reed at a bar offers her a glimmer of hope for escape.
