Annie, a 10-year-old troublemaker living on the outskirts of Austin, spends her days causing chaos on her BMX bike and smashing objects with her baseball bat. With a goat-farmer father more interested in demolition derbies than parenting, she navigates life alone, lacking friends her age. One day, while exploring the woods, she hears a woman’s desperate cries for help echoing from an old well. Intrigued yet uncertain, Annie feels compelled to return daily, grappling with how to confront the mysterious woman’s desperate situation.
