Ling steps up to defend a cherished old friend facing eviction from his retirement home, as the director deems his vivid imagination too disruptive for the other residents. As Ling grapples with whether her friend genuinely inhabits his fantastical world or is simply putting on an act, he experiences a hallucination with tragic consequences. In a separate storyline, Ally notices a potentially charming guy and decides to pursue him.
