Gordon finds it difficult to handle the aftermath of the coach accident that severely injured his wife, seeking solace from his coworker Jill, who encourages him to take a break from work. At the same time, a woman is brought to the Royal for an urgent hysterectomy due to complications from an illegal abortion, begging the staff to keep the situation hidden from her fiancé. Additionally, Greengrass is taken aback when he learns about the existence of a daughter he never knew he had.
