Rebecca unexpectedly shows up at Randall's house, meeting his biological father, William, for the first time. Meanwhile, Kevin nervously prepares to relocate to New York in hopes of landing a Broadway role, believing Kate will join him in this new adventure. Toby is focused on helping Kate step out from under Kevin's influence. As Jack and Rebecca bring their newborns home from the hospital, they navigate the challenges of parenthood while coming to terms with the loss of their other child. Rebecca finds it difficult to bond with their adopted child and seeks clarity on her feelings.
