S01E06 The Avalanche Zone

Title: The Avalanche Zone Plot: Intense snowfall has led to hazardous avalanche risks along the Coquihalla Highway. Snowplow teams are struggling to manage the accumulating snow. As traffic begins to pile up in dangerous areas prone to avalanches, highway officials opt to shut down the road in both directions. A specialized team of avalanche technicians is dispatched via helicopter to the mountain to deploy concussion bombs and alleviate the snow buildup; however, poor weather conditions thwart their initial efforts. With the Coquihalla closed for the night, trucks are rerouting through less-traveled back roads.
