Brenda is compelled to revisit the murder case of a psychiatrist when the suspect's confession raises doubts about the actual events. Suspecting a cover-up due to the man's connection to the doctor, Brenda is determined to uncover the truth. However, her investigation faces a hurdle when Willie Rae unexpectedly drops by, seemingly to offload Brenda's unruly niece onto the newlyweds for the summer break.
