Amidst a brutal winter, the Indigenous Peoples of Alaska strive to survive. Marvin braves the frigid temperatures to gather sea urchins during a minus tide. Meanwhile, Daniel and Chase scour the coastline for driftwood to fuel their newly built garage. Jody faces the unforgiving weather to keep up with her everyday tasks. At the same time, Tig and Louise are on a mission to track down a bull moose, hoping to stock their freezer and provide nourishment for their family.
