S03E20 Las Brisas

Title: Las Brisas Plot: The trial of Donald Lucas kicks off as the team travels to the Mexican town of Las Brisas, where a year-long mystery surrounds the disappearances of numerous women, with several bodies turning up. Their inquiry faces significant obstacles, primarily due to the corrupt local police chief, Miguel Villalobos, who is influenced by U.S. sheriff J.D. Tollman, both of whom attempt to sabotage the VCTF's efforts. The investigation unveils ties to a powerful American businessman, James Lofton, who runs a textile factory and has been linked to local sex workers, some of whom have become victims. While collaborating with Marta Fernandez, a dedicated officer, Sam and the team frequently return to Atlanta for Lucas' trial, where testimonies from her, Bailey, and George are presented against him. Additionally, Sheriff Ed Post from Otis, California, unexpectedly supports Sam, while secretly being the elusive Jack-of-All-Trades, hiding from everyone.
