For the past eleven years, Salina has struggled with serious issues, including intense bulimia and a compulsive shopping habit. Recently, she has turned to self-mutilation, prompting her family to reach out to the show in a desperate bid for help. They hope she will seize this opportunity for change. Meanwhile, Troy moved to Los Angeles with promising prospects, but his casual crystal meth use spiraled into a full-blown addiction. He admits to having had numerous sexual encounters while under the influence. Now homeless and jobless, he resorts to selling meth for survival, relying on injections to cope with life on the streets. Concerned friends have contacted Intervention to try to save him.
