Asa's struggles with teasing led him to feel insecure about his weight, ethnicity, and sexuality. In an attempt to cope with the pain, he turned to bulimia, drugs, and alcohol. Despite being a medical science student who understands the toll these habits take on his body, Asa feels trapped and unable to break free. His family must unite to support him in finding the assistance he desperately needs to overcome these challenges and reclaim his life.
