S02E05 Kim's Hope Chest
During a class field trip, Joey accidentally sets a fire, prompting Kim and Jimmy to reassess their parenting approaches. This incident inspires Kim to attempt to mend her family, beginning with a truce with Jimmy. However, she soon discovers that Jimmy's bond with Brooke is stronger than she anticipated. In a moment of vulnerability, Kim sleeps with a stranger and later vents to her mother about her struggles with men. This culminates in a tense showdown with Brooke, leading Kim to reconsider what is truly best for Joey moving forward.
