Devon Taylor, a 20-year-old physics prodigy, often encounters unusual sounds from space while working alongside Dr. Evan Swift at the radio observatory. However, a particular signal originating from the direction of Certus piques his curiosity. To validate his instincts, he brings a recording of the signal home, where his 17-year-old sister, Joyce, and her boyfriend, Vic, are captivated, expressing that it sounds like the most enchanting music they've ever heard.
