Detectives Rudy Reynoso and Juan Gonzalez from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department are called to a park where a human skull has been found. They carefully search the area and, with the help of a forensic anthropologist, uncover more human remains and clothing. Their investigation leads to the identification of the victim through a cell phone's serial number linked to a missing person. In a separate story, Officer Christopher Curtis responds to a domestic disturbance where a woman reports her troubled ex-boyfriend attempted to break into her home. The ex-boyfriend ultimately acknowledges his feelings for her, despite her lack of reciprocation.
