At the Old House and throughout the neighborhood, residents are puzzled by the disappearance of their hats, gloves, and scarves. Madeline and Pepito team up with Detective Moreau to uncover the culprits behind the thefts. After some investigation, they uncover a heartwarming truth: the so-called "thieves" are actually kind-hearted magpies, who are taking the warm clothing to share with the homeless individuals in the park.
