Holmes and Watson embark on a transatlantic investigation from London after a close associate is seriously injured by a mysterious assailant in the United States. As they delve into the case, they face an additional challenge: Holmes’ own legal issues in America, stemming from a false confession to a murder he didn’t commit, loom large and threaten to obstruct their pursuit of justice.
