Upon realizing Aelita's connection to the supercomputer and the challenges of shutting it down, Jeremie dedicates himself to discovering improved strategies to combat Xana. He creates new vehicles for the team and designs a tower-scanning program that quickly identifies activated towers, enabling Aelita to live on Earth. As she navigates her new life, the class embarks on a scientific field trip to the nearby woods. Ulrich hopes to team up with Yumi, but finds she's already partnered with a student named William.
