S02E17 The Matchmakers

Cora is heartbroken as she faces losing her home to a construction company in just a few days, unsure where to take her beloved animals. In her despair, she attempts to end her life by driving her car into a lake. Hearing her story, Jon, Ponch, and Sindy rush to help her. Meanwhile, Officer Derk, nearing retirement, begins acting unpredictably, much to Sgt. Getraer’s dismay. A private investigator makes two attempts to abduct a young girl from her mother, but Jon, Ponch, and Derk thwart his efforts. Eventually, Jon and Ponch devise a plan to unite Derk and Cora, leading to a budding romance where Derk welcomes Cora and her animals into his life.
