Joan decides to break her "three-month" rule and spends the night with Chris, but her plans change when she receives a call from Sean. Excited by his return, she ends things with Chris, eager to reconnect with Sean. To her surprise, he reveals he is engaged. Meanwhile, William takes an interest in Lynn's colleague, only to find out she has feelings for Lynn instead. Maya contemplates confessing her affair with Stan to Darnell, but her friends advise against it. Ultimately, Darnell learns the truth in an unforeseen manner.
