After a woman is hurt in a car accident, she worries about her dog, prompting John to step in and look after it, which adds to his already complicated life. Meanwhile, at the hospital, a doctor attends to a girl struggling to breathe and a man who seems to be intoxicated. At a party, when one of the guests experiences chest pains, everyone assumes he’s just kidding around. Additionally, paramedics rush to assist an injured hunter in need of help.
