The building manager discovers the lifeless body of a young woman in the bathtub of her first apartment. When police interview an ex-con residing in the unit below, he fabricates a story. However, his deceit isn’t enough to establish a murder case, leading the investigation to stall. Later, a novel forensic technique re-evaluates the existing evidence, reigniting hopes of solving the crime.
