Two thrill-seekers perform perilous stunts along the Boardwalk, aiming to secure a victory in an online contest. Unbeknownst to Palermo, his daughter, Jessie, has developed a crush on one of the performers and is capturing their daring antics on film for the competition. Meanwhile, a pair of thieves are peddling goods stolen from trucks to vendors on the Boardwalk. Chris unwittingly gets closer to uncovering their scheme when she purchases a stolen watch from the shady jewelry seller, MAHMOOD. Victor's mother, ROSA, unexpectedly drops by, disrupting his plans for a romantic evening with Linda. As Rosa probes into Linda's future regarding marriage and family, Victor grows frustrated, only to find himself on the receiving end of Linda's anger.
