S02E01 Into the Fire

In the second season of Top Chef set in Los Angeles, fifteen fresh contestants are welcomed by new host Padma Lakshmi. Guest judge Harold Dieterle joins the panel to assess the competitors. The QuickFire Challenge tasks chefs with crafting a dish that showcases the flambé technique, while the Elimination Challenge requires them to creatively incorporate all five ingredients from the mystery box into their meals.
