Initially suspected to be an MRSA infection, it’s later revealed to be caused by Mycobacterium marinum. Meanwhile, a middle-aged man experiences a choking sensation and persistent coughing. Initially diagnosed with pneumonia, he undergoes spinal surgery, only to suffer from severe throat pain afterward. It’s discovered he accidentally swallowed a can tab. Lastly, a young man starts feeling intense itchiness, which escalates to a headache, nausea, body aches, and difficulty urinating. Tests confirm he has meningitis due to rat lungworm disease.
