Eli experiences a moment of clarity when a man unexpectedly shows up on his television, pleading for assistance. This man is one of Nathan's former patients who has just emerged from a five-year coma, only to discover that his wife has taken control of his business and moved on with another husband. He turns to Eli for help, requesting that he file a lawsuit to help restore his life to what it once was.
